Research and Planning Blog

 For my commercial project, I wanted to include Pictures and videos that pertain to me personally. My pictures all include aspects of my life. My first picture shows me and my sister, back in 2014. The picture shows us playing at an indoor snow slide that we visited in North Carolina. The pitcher shows the happiness that I endured when I was a kid. My second picture is a family picture. It was taken at a beach resort; it shows the bond my family has for one another. My third picture shows my ingenuity side. It was taken back when I was in 6th grade and created an invention to climb trees for a science project. I love this picture because when I was younger, I was always interested and intrigued by inventions. My 4th picture is a picture of me when I was a kid doing Brazilian jujitsu. I loved doing it back in the day and I never quit. I still do it to this day. It's one of my favorite things I do because it teaches discipline and respect on a whole other level. For my last picture, I closed a pic of me at my 5th grade graduation. and in the picture, it's me and my grandma holding my elementary school diploma. I like this picture because it brings me back to the good old days when I was all focused on being a kid and not having any responsibilities. Compared to now having bills and grades. I am planning on tying all this media into my commercial project focusing on my life and what makes me me. For my video media, I'm going to use a video from one of my first martial arts tournaments. To tie in with my hobbies and my likings. For my song choice, I chose I Got a Feeling by the Black-Eyed Peas. When I was growing up, every single day my mother used to play this song on a CD in the car on the way to school. My sister and I used to sing along to all the lyrics of the album and this song connects to me because it reminds me that everything's going to be OK through the course of my life.
