The commercial I am constructing is going very well. I have almost finished completely. I used the editing software called Premiere Pro. This software is very hard to learn. But I already knew how to use it. The software has a lot of features that generic apps don't have. The Fx area on Premier Pro is where I constructed the whole transition parts of my commercial. It has a lot of templates to choose from. I chose a couple of presets to effortlessly transition from a middle close-up shot to an establishing shot. When it came to the audio, Premiere Pro has that covered. It has a tab for audio and sounds. It even has a sound masher which I didn't use but I thought it was cool. I kept my audio simple by just using transition sounds and effects. It was simple but not at the same time. The use of this software really benefited me. I was able to use an array of products and effects. Which really makes my commercial one-of-a-kind. The closing of my commercial was closed with an audio

The production of my commercial is going really good. I have to get some little things sorted but all in all, really making progress. The clarity of the videos is a little blurry. The music I had to revise it because it wasn't appropriate enough. Then I had an issue with my computer as a whole for a couple of days. My computer died and it wouldn't turn on. I was super stressed cause I never saved a backup file to a flash drive. I took it to the shop to get fixed, and they said it was fixable. Thank god, cause without it I would have to restart the whole commercial. Let alone all my other files on the computer. But I got it back 3 days later and the file was corrupted. Which sucked cause I did end up having to remake it. I still had all the pictures and the video saved. But it sucked having to remake it. When it came to choosing a school friendly song I chose the song Safe and Sound by the duo Capital Cities. I liked this song cause it gives a very calming tone. The song tells

I am finally constructing my commercial. I am using Adobe Premier Pro for all the editing. I chose Adobe Premier Pro because I am already familiar with the software. I used to edit old gaming clips when I was younger. So for me, it was easy to just use the same software. I am having some difficulties actually piecing out how I want my commercial to look. I have all the clips in the editing software but I am stumped on the actual format of the commercial. Other than that everything is going smoothly. I have all my clips and pictures in the editor. I also have the music synced with some of the clips. When it comes to the sound, at first I wasn't happy with it. I was having trouble adjusting the sound profile through my software for some reason. It was way too loud and overpowering. After a quick YouTube video, I figured out how to fix it. Then after I went to render part of the commercial. It was way too pixelated so I turned to YouTube again to try and fix it. Turns out my computer

Here is the thought process behind my commercial. First, I am planning on making it around 30 seconds to 45 seconds long. I want to use my childhood pictures and videos to give the viewer context about my personal life. In the opening scene, I am going to use a voiceover to introduce the theme and set the tone for the commercial. Scene 1 is going to be setting the stage by introducing the main character which is myself. I am going to be contrasting the joyfulness of childhood in general. This will bring the viewer to a more relatable experience. Throughout the rest of the commercial, I am going to talk about myself as a person. My struggles, accomplishments, family, and others. Throughout the commercial, I am going to transition between photos and videos showing myself. One video I am going to show is a video of me winning a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament. This video shows one of my many accomplishments. I have been doing it for years and I felt this video shows my determination for t

For my commercial project, I wanted to include Pictures and videos that pertain to me personally. My pictures all include aspects of my life. My first picture shows me and my sister, back in 2014. The picture shows us playing at an indoor snow slide that we visited in North Carolina. The pitcher shows the happiness that I endured when I was a kid. My second picture is a family picture. It was taken at a beach resort; it shows the bond my family has for one another. My third picture shows my ingenuity side. It was taken back when I was in 6th grade and created an invention to climb trees for a science project. I love this picture because when I was younger, I was always interested and intrigued by inventions. My 4th picture is a picture of me when I was a kid doing Brazilian jujitsu. I loved doing it back in the day and I never quit. I still do it to this day. It's one of my favorite things I do because it teaches discipline and respect on a whole other level. For my last picture,

Welcome, My name is Lucas Alves, I grew up in one of Brazil's biggest cities, Sao Paulo. I came to the United States as a kid at just 5 years old when my parents decided it was going to be a better opportunity for me. I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Growing up in Florida was definitely an adjustment cause I didn't know English. I had to teach myself English from TV shows like Sponge Bob and Johnny Test and ELL classes for not native English speakers. My parents' decision 12 years ago was the best decision cause now I live in the land of opportunity and there is no stopping someone like me with a drive to succeed. I am now 17 years old and attend the wonderful school of Fort Lauderdale High School, where my favorite subject is business. Speaking on business, I want to attend college for a Bachelor's degree In business and marketing. I love every aspect of it, whether it be money and finances to learning the steps to open a business. After college, I plan on openin
